Richard Quigley
Councillor: Cowes North

Richard Quigley
I moved to the Island with my family in 2003 to buy a business. We haven’t looked back since.
I stood in the 2019 general election, in which the Labour party received it’s highest vote on the Island since the 70s, thanks to the huge effort of the volunteers in the local party. I was fortunate enough to be elected Councillor for Cowes North in 2021. In this role, I have been able to start community wealth building within the council, aiming to keep more of the Island’s money on the Island and improve wages. Poverty and housing take up the rest of my time. I am currently Chair of Corporate Scrutiny and Children’s Scrutiny.
Please think about getting involved; we always need passionate people to help.
